Alfonso Jose Coronel is a Melbourne based production designer with a Master’s in Production Design for Screen from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) and a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Screen) from Flinders University.
During his time at VCA, he designed the short film Fisch and served as Art Director for All We Have is Time, which won Best Production Design for a Short Film at the 2022 Australian Production Designer’s Guild Awards.
Since 2014, Alfonso has worked across short films, music videos, and fashion editorials, honing his ability to bring concepts to life. With a focus on crafting stylized worlds that amplify the emotional core of a story, Alfonso uses his technical expertise to create layered designs that enrich narratives and elevate the filmmaking process.
